VPNYet Setup Guide
Create an account with a username and password—no email address required. Follow the steps below to choose a plan, import your subscription, and verify your connection. Skip any steps you've already completed.
Create an account and make sure the dashboard works
VPNYet doesn't require an email address. Create an account with a username and password. Open the link below, follow the on-screen instructions, and check your entries before submitting. Use a password you don't reuse on other services, and save it in a trusted password manager. After creating your account, follow the dashboard prompts to open the account overview. If you already have an account, use the login link instead of creating another one.
The account overview is where you can get your subscription, check your plan status, and review your data balance. First, make sure the page opens and the account details match the username you just used. If you haven't chosen a plan yet, a missing active subscription or data allowance isn't a connection issue. Creating an account and activating a network subscription are separate steps; choose a plan in the next step.
If the page doesn't move on after you submit, read the message near the input fields. Check that the username is available and the password confirmation matches, then make any requested changes. If you've logged in successfully before but can't now, check your keyboard input, capitalization, and whether your password manager filled in the correct account. Don't create another account to deal with an existing account's order. See the Help Center for details on account and subscription ownership.
Choose a plan and confirm your payment
VPNYet offers monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they don't expire and remain available until used. First decide whether you need ongoing service or occasional access, then choose a data allowance. Don't compare plans by the most prominent price alone.
Open the plans section in the dashboard, choose a plan, and continue to order confirmation. Before paying, check that the plan name, amount, data allowance, and billing method match your choice. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use with a monthly data allowance; data packages offer more flexibility for occasional access. All plans support unlimited devices, but keep an eye on your account's data usage across devices. Unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data.
Payment methods include Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Follow the instructions on the checkout page. After paying, return to the dashboard and confirm the order is marked as paid and the plan and data allowance appear in your account overview. A successful redirect from the payment page doesn't replace checking the order in your dashboard. If the status hasn't updated, check the original order and refresh the page; don't pay again right away.
VPNYet offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for full details. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the order details shown in your dashboard before changing plans. For now, complete your initial purchase. Compare plans on the Plans page, then continue once your account shows an active subscription.
Get your subscription ready for your client
A subscription link lets your client retrieve the server configuration for your account. It's not a web address or an installation file. Open the account overview, find the subscription section, and copy the link or use the dashboard's import option. You don't need to open the link in a browser. Next, send it to a client that supports subscriptions.
Before copying the link, check that you're signed into the right account and review your plan status and remaining data. If you've just paid but the overview hasn't updated, check the order section rather than copying a subscription from another account. When importing manually, copy the entire link and leave out any explanatory text next to the button. If you use the dashboard's one-click import, follow the prompts to select an installed client.
Your subscription link may contain account access credentials, so treat it like a password. Don't post the full link in public forums, screenshots, or chat logs, and don't submit it to unknown conversion websites to troubleshoot an issue. When contacting support, describe what happened—for example, “import failed” or “update failed”—and share any error message only after removing sensitive information. Never disclose the full subscription link.
Import into a client and check for servers
VPNYet supports Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Linux. After logging in, open the client section of the dashboard to get the appropriate client and instructions for your operating system. Clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux are available after login; for iOS, follow the requirements shown in the dashboard. Installing a client doesn't import your subscription. Follow the platform-specific steps below to check the import.
Use the client and import options provided in the dashboard rather than searching for installation files by software name on unknown websites. It's usually easiest to install and open the client first, then return to the dashboard to start the import so the system can identify the app. If prompted to open the client, check which app is being opened before continuing. If nothing opens automatically, use the client's manual subscription import option.
Windows: Import from the subscription or configuration section
On Windows, use the desktop client provided in the dashboard. After installing and opening it, look for the “Subscription” or “Configuration” section on the main screen. If the dashboard offers one-click import, return to your browser, select the corresponding option, and allow it to open the client. After importing, select the subscription you just added and make sure its server list appears—not just an empty configuration name.
To add a subscription manually, look for an option such as “Add” or “Import from link” in the subscription or configuration section. Paste the full link, save it, and update the subscription. Once the server list appears, enable the system proxy or traffic routing feature required by the client. Only approve system permission requests that relate to the action you're performing; there's no need to change unrelated system settings to run the client.
macOS: Import first, then grant network permissions
On macOS, use the desktop client provided in the dashboard and follow the installation instructions. Start by using the dashboard's one-click import or adding the link in the client's subscription or configuration manager. Save the configuration, select it, and update it to load the server list. If you see several older configurations, make sure the active one is the subscription you just got from your VPNYet dashboard.
When you connect for the first time, macOS may ask you to approve network settings or related permissions. Follow the client and system prompts. Once approved, return to the client and check that the connection is switched on. If the client still reports that permissions are missing, resolve that first before trying another server. Importing the subscription and allowing the client to manage network traffic are separate steps to verify.
Android: Add a subscription from a link
On Android, get the mobile client from the client section of the dashboard after logging in. Open the app and use the dashboard's import option if available. To import manually, choose “Add from link” in the configuration or subscription section, paste the subscription copied from your account overview, and save it. Then update the subscription. When the regions and server names appear, select the configuration you want to use.
When you start the connection, Android will show a network permission prompt based on how the app works. Check that it's for the right app, then continue. Once the app shows a connected status, switch back to your browser and test access. If it disconnects only when the screen turns off or you switch apps, check the system's background activity restrictions for the client instead of repeatedly deleting the subscription. The Help Center covers further troubleshooting; for this step, confirm that it connects and provides access while in the foreground.
iOS: Get and import the client according to dashboard requirements
On iOS, use a compatible client listed in the dashboard. Open the client section and read the availability requirements and installation instructions first. The iOS client is available through the dashboard to accounts with a purchased, unexpired plan; follow the prompts shown there. After installing and opening the app, return to your account overview and use the corresponding import option. To add it manually, paste the link in the client's subscription or configuration section, save it, and update.
The first time you connect, follow the system prompt to allow the VPN configuration and complete any required confirmations. Return to the client and start the connection. Check that the selected configuration and server are correct, then test access in your target app. If the configuration is imported but no servers appear, try updating the subscription and check the error message. If servers are listed but the connection won't start, check system permissions first so you can troubleshoot each step separately.
Verify the connection and identify the source of issues
Once the server list appears, choose a server that matches the region requirements of the service you want to use, then connect. For your first setup, keep the client's recommended defaults to avoid complications from changing multiple settings at once. Check that the client shows an active connection, the selected server is the one you chose, and the system has granted the required network permissions.
Once the client shows a connected status, open a browser and visit the website you want to use, then test the relevant feature in its app. For example, with AI tools, check that the sign-in page loads and you can submit a request. For streaming, check your account, available catalog, and playback. A website loading confirms only that this route worked; it doesn't mean every app or every region's content will be available.
If the client can't update the subscription, check your plan and remaining data in the account overview, then make sure the link is complete. If the update succeeds but you can't connect, check system permissions and the client's connection toggle. If you're connected but the service still reports an error, keep the error message and check the service's account eligibility, regional rules, and current status. VPNYet has coverage in 100+ countries with 180+ routes, but this doesn't guarantee continuous availability of third-party services.
If you need to switch servers, note the current server and the issue first. Then choose another server suited to your target region and repeat the same test. Change one setting at a time so you can compare results. Avoid changing the configuration, connection mode, and multiple system settings all at once; even if access is restored, you won't know which change fixed it.
Once everything works, keep your login details and current configuration safe, and check your data usage and plan status in the dashboard. Monthly subscriptions reset each month on the activation date. Data packages never expire, but usage is deducted from the balance. VPNYet follows a no-logs policy. Keep your account and subscription details secure, and use the network in accordance with the target service's rules and applicable local laws.
The setup is complete: you can log in, your plan is active, the subscription updates, the client shows servers, and access to your target service is verified. If you still have an issue, troubleshoot by symptom in the Help Center. To submit a support request, open a ticket in the dashboard and include your operating system, the client error message, and the steps you've tried. Remove your password and full subscription link. For renewals, configuration maintenance, and advanced traffic routing, see the Complete Guide. You don't need to finish every advanced setting before your first connection.
